Age altered hurdles

Using specific heights dependent on the child’s age, the hurdles we use are designed to increase speed power and agility. They can be used for numerous workouts such as, side step drills, high knee lifts, explosive jumps, and sideways, backwards agility movements. (5-10 year olds = 4inch hurdles/ 11-15 year olds = 7 inch hurdles).

 

Agility Ladders

The aim is to improve speed, agility, balance and coordination in one exercise. Ideal for change of direction and quick feet drills. Constantly rehersing these drills develop a child's overall footwork increasing their comfort in their movement with or without the ball in match situations. The skills learned in these exercises can be transformed into all forms of sport.

 

Agility cones

A versatile piece of equipment we use flat cones and traffic cones in a number of different ways. They can be used in agility drills as well as simple passing and shooting drills.

 

Samba Goals

Tim Cahill Coaching Clinics use 12ft by 6ft goals in our training programs. These goals are smaller than regulation goals and are used to improve the accuracy of a child's shooting. You will find children shooting at the end of most of their training exercises to improve their finishing skills, the idea is to improve a childs awareness infront of goal.

For that all important goal celebration. We encourage all children to celebrate their goals, its the greatest feeling in soccer and why everyone starts playing the game!
